This file is the need assessment and justification for drug harm reduction program in Los Angeles. The target population is individual experiencing homelessness as they are disproportionately affected by comorbidities associated with substance abuse. The first page of the file shows a sample of primary data collection survey to determine needs.
Area I Reflection:
I still need more practice in the area of need, resources, and capacity assessments. The skill is easy to learn in theory but largely difficult to conduct effectively. In order to improve, I will need to seek out more need assessment opportunities outside of the classroom and textbook.
